My name is Zahilia Cabán. I came to the University of Puerto Rico Rio Piedras Campus five years ago where I finished my bachelor degree in Chemistry. After I finished my bachelor I had decide to continue graduate studies. Currently I am a graduate student at the UPR-RP in the Chemistry program . As soon as I started my graduated studies I had begun to work at the MCC. Here I'm the TGA (Thermal Gravimetric Analyses), DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) and FT-IR (Furrier Transform - Infrared Spectroscopy) specialist. At this moment I am in charge of a research project that is carried out by the MCC using the TGA.
